Happy February everyone!
First of all, I hope you listened to Rush today as it is 2.1.12 but I digress... We want to thank a few people that have supported us and helped us a long this past month: Ron Leeper - thank you for mastering our record. YES! That's right, our new EP is finished, thanks to Ron. He is immensly talented and is a master of, um, mastering! He really knows how to bring the sonic quality out of any recording. We are so fortunate to be able to work with him. A note on his method: he masters to tape so that a rich saturation is present in the audio and that makes the total sonic pallette more cohesive and smooth. Think of your favorite classic rock song and how it sounds compared to mondern rock songs. We in the trade strive to get things to sound that way because it really is better. And it's better for your ears too. You will soon find out....
Indie On The Move - Thanks to this great website we are able to tour. Seriously. This has been our main booking resource for a few years now. The guys are great, Bryan and Kyle are also in a band called Zelazowa that is all about doing things on their own too so they understand where bands like us are coming from. Also, they are featuring us on their homepage this month which is a huge compliment. If you are in a band, use their site. And let them know how great it is to have a comprehensive and interactive database because before that all we had was midwestvenues.com (if you have ever used that site you will know why IOTM is so great...)

Hi everyone! Hope that you are enjoying the holiday season, we certainly are! Some big things are happening in 2012 (not what you're thinking...) The release of our first single is on the way. Did somebody say vinyl? Perhaps a music video? Maybe even a tour? All of these things should be happening in early 2012. So excited!

Hard at work
We've been working hard on our new EP "The Habit Forming Years vol. 1" and it's starting to turn out pretty darn good! We are in the mixing stages now and are excited to be releasing it soon. We will also be uploading our acoustic performance at DiPiazza's for your listening pleasure soon.

Hey new and familiar friends!
We had an awesome jaunt to Scottsdale, AZ where we played an extremely fun show at the Rogue Bar with Milo The Mayor The General Electric, Pale Fac Sailor, and our good friends Tugboat. Thanks to all of them for wonderful hospitality and kindness. We wil definitely be coming back so if you missed it this time, there will definitely be an other.
In other August related news, we are currently mixing Volume 1 of our EP series. We are expecting to release it in September so please sign up on our e-mail list to get the 411 on album previews and video updates on the progress of the rlease. We are increibly excited to get this batch of songs out of the oven. They truly are cookies for your ears!
Also coming up will be an intimate performance at a new venue in Hollywood called Amplyfi on September 2nd. Our friend Rob (from Back Pocket Memory) is turning a new year over in his life and we are gonna celebrate the shit out uf his existence at that show. Performing will be us, Bristol To Memory, Year Of The Dog, and Back Pocket Memory. There are an extremely limited number of tickets available, this show WILL sell out so hit us up as soon as possible to get your tickets.

Summer Fun
We have a lot of exciting stuff to announce! First off we are playing some big shows with good friends of ours, BACK POCKET MEMORY. They are celebrating the release of their new EP at the El Rey Theater on Saturday, July 23rd. We are performing at 9PM and there will be a special surprise at the show ;)
Also, we are performing with BPM on Friday, July 8th at Nadines Irish Myst in Sunset Beach. Consider it a sort of a pregame to the big show. Come out and grab a drink with us at this fine pub. More infor on these shows are found on our events section, also check the Facebook events...
Earlier this month we headed over to The Omen Room in Garden Grove to start recording our new album The Habit Forming Years. We put a little video together to show you all what we have been working on. It's up in our video section and on our Youtube page.
